Not much to report on from today. Still a little rainy this morning and cloudy throughout the day. The tour staff aborted our regularly scheduled plans to visit a national park (due to heavy rains and mud). They tried to have us go to a place where we could make Kimchi, but it wasn't open. Instead our day consisted of visiting a funky artist village called Penguin Village, Korean food museum, May 18th memorial and a contemporary art exhibit (left early and got some coffee).
We have a little break this afternoon before heading out for supper with the group. Tomorrow we head back to Seoul.

The uprising was a response to the coup d'état of May Seventeenth that installed Chun Doo-hwan as military dictator and implemented martial law. Following his ascent to power, Chun arrested opposition leaders, closed all universities, banned political activities, and suppressed the press. The uprising was violently suppressed by the South Korean military.

Lunch - Mandu, Noodle soup, Chicken and rice soup for Dede & Max
We had to take our shoes off at this restaurant.
Traditional low tables were in one section of the restaurant. They led us to regular tables and chairs. It felt strange to be in a restaurant wearing our socks.
We haven't seen many golf courses, but we've seen tons of these Top Golf like places.

Lotte Mart Maxx feels like a place we should visit. From here it looks like 5 stories of shopping!
